  • Deron P. Larsson, DVM

    Dr. Larsson is a 1987 graduate of U.C. Davis Veterinary School and has been at Canal Veterinary Hospital since 1988. He and his wife, Kathryn, have five children, three pets and live in Turlock. His interest is in internal medicine.

  • Heather Deleon, DVM

    Dr. Deleon was born and raised in Turlock, California. She realized from a young age that she had a passion for veterinary medicine. She started her journey at Canal Veterinary Hospital as a kennel and veterinary assistant through junior high and high school. She obtained her undergraduate degree in biology pre-medicine from Cal State University, Monterey Bay-also working full time as a veterinary technician. She then went to veterinary school at UC Davis, where she continued to work as a veterinary technician.

  • Lindy Wright
    Staff Training Specialist

    Lindy has been with Canal Veterinary Hospital since 2008. Taking time out to start a family in 2012 and choosing to be a stay at home mother to son, Cohen and daughter Ruby, is a true example of her caring nature. Lindy is back, filling in to help where ever she can, while still being a devoted wife and mother. 

  • Rebecca Goodrich, RVT
    Registered Veterinary Technician

    Rebecca is our Registered Veterinary Technician and joined our staff in March of 2017. Though Rebecca’s roots are in the Modesto area, her husband Jake drew her to Wyoming 5 years ago. Now back in the area, we are excited to have her and her wealth of knowledge in the veterinary field, here at Canal Veterinary Hospital. Her experience and upbeat, kind-hearted attitude makes Rebecca a wonderful addition to our team.

  • Ann Kutz
    Veterinary Assistant

    Ann is currently a student at MJC and is taking classes to work towards a career in probation services. Ann has handled animals as our Kennel Assistant for many years and is now also an assistant to the veterinarians in the exam rooms. Her gentle and confident attitude around animals makes her an important member to our team. 

  • Janae Heppner
    Veterinary Assistant

    Janae is currently a psychology student at UC Merced. Janae joined Canal Veterinary Hospital in April of 2015. Janae started out cleaning kennels, and has now moved up to Veterinary Assistant. While still helping out in kennels, she also fills in at the reception desk when needed. Janae's sense of detail and organization is a welcomed quality here at Canal Veterinary Hospital. Her love of animals shines in the care she provides for our furry friends. 

  • Sheri Carlson

    Sheri is a part-time receptionist here at Canal Veterinary Hospital. Sheri is married to husband Jeff, has 4 children and 1 grandchild. She is a bright spot at the front desk and always willing to help with your pet(s) needs.

  • Julie Salsig

    Julie is our full-time receptionist here at Canal Veterinary Hospital. Julie and her husband have 3 children: Hope, Hollie, and Colton. Julie came to us with years of experience working with people. She loves to use her wonderful people-skills and compassion to help serve our clients and their pet(s). Julie's kind and compassionate personality make her a cherished addition to our family.

  • Mason Ford
    Veterinary Assitant

    Mason came to Canal Veterinary Hospital near the end of the year 2017. Mason had recently moved back to California from Oregon and is now pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. He is currently a student at MJC and is taking undergraduate courses. Mason hopes to return to Oregon, one day, to serve the community as a veterinarian. Mason always has a positive attitude and is great at making sure our clients and their pets feel welcome and a part of our family.

  • Cali Jost
    Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

    Cali came to Canal Veterinary Hospital in April of 2018. Cali is both a receptionist and a veterinary assistant. She loves to learn everything she can in the veterinary field while providing love and care to our beloved pet(s). Cali is currently a student at MJC and is taking classes to fulfill her undergraduate requirements for attending the school of veterinarian medicine at Oregon State University. Cali's caring and eager-to-learn attitude makes her a valuable addition to our family.
